Merchant Pricing

Merchant pricing outlines the fees and cost structures associated with processing transactions. It simplifies fee setup and management through predefined templates and a permission-based model to ensure only authorized personnel can modify pricing details.

Merchant Pricing Structure

• Pricing Plan: Defines how a merchant is billed, including applicable fees and the active period (start and end dates).

• Master Template: Controls the structure of pricing plans, ensuring consistent fees and preventing conflicting pricing models.

• Pricing Template: Sets pricing policies for merchants associated with a software partner. For example, a template can enforce a minimum transaction fee of $0.05.

• Pricing Fees: Specifies charges based on either:

  • Rate: A percentage-based transaction fee.

  • Fixed Fee: A set amount applied to specific events.
